We believe there is hope for a better world and that we can create it through direct action.

Thus, Hope & Action was born. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by American volunteers who originally worked with refugee partners in Ukraine and Poland. Today, our programs across the USA and abroad highlight our commitment to displaced and disaster-affected peoples.

What We Do

Our volunteers work with partners that provide direct and meaningful support for those suffering from displacement, domestic violence, natural disasters, poverty, and war.

We Shelter

Through our partners like The Phoenix in Ukraine and the Hope Center in Poland, we help to shelter refugees and displaced peoples.

We Rescue

We collaborate with partners who safely evacuate refugees, including their pets and livestock, to secure locations.

We Rebuild

Our partners rebuild homes and infrastructure for displaced peoples, ensuring they have homes to return to.

We Prepare

Migrants, refugees, and displaced people often require additional support and guidance to get back on their feet. Our experienced partners are here to help.
